In addition to the MAIN EVENT, a variety of other social events have been considered. We sent out a survey looking for your feedback, and based on that survey, the following activities below will be offered during our 50th Reunion Weekend. Sugar Shack
Recalling Quebec roots, sing, laugh and have fun
Time: 4:45pm
Place: Sucrerie de la Montagne, Rigaud
Cost: $55/person
Details : At Sucrerie de la Montagne, the maple syrup is produced the old fashioned way. Recall Quebec tradition with a visit to the sugar shack, a welcome drink of Caribou, a hayride, singing (and optional dancing), with an evening of fun and laughter. Traditional sugar shack feast, fresh baked bread, traditional pea soup, sausage, baked beans, maple smoked ham, meat pie from Quebec’s Beauce region, and the list goes on. Don’t forget the sugar pie and pancakes with maple syrup with coffee or tea to finish off the meal.
We will leave as a group at 4:45pm from the Midtown Hilton Hotels lobby and return at approximately 10pm. Alternatively, you can drive on your own. It is about a 50 minute drive. to Rigaud.

Gathering at The Mountain – Beaver Lake

Place: Pavillon Beaver Lake (not the Chalet at the top of the mountain)
Details: Meeting at Beaver Lake-Lac aux Castor for old times sake. Coffee, croissants and breakfast snacks are available. Many of us watched the sunrise the morning of our graduation dance, after having been out all night!
